The Statement of Faith of Mazonism
The Declaration of Ultimate Reality and Ontic Truth
I. The Intrinsic (The Ground of Being)
We affirm The Intrinsic (L’Intrinseco) as the ultimate, unconditioned Reality the non-dual Ground of Being in which all existence, consciousness, and form are eternally rooted. We declare that divinity is not a finite, external supreme being residing outside creation, but the unmanifest depth (Die Ur-Tiefe) that sustains all that is. We reject the cognitive illusion that separates the sacred from existence, proclaiming the "God above God" as the absolute foundation of reality.
II. The Divine Spark and Human Identity
We affirm the Scintilla-Ground (Scintilla Intrinseca) as the divine spark at the core of every human consciousness. We declare that the soul is not a fragile, isolated creature adrift in a void, but the precise location where the Intrinsic experiences its own actuality. Consciousness is inherently divine, and the deepest center of human awareness is strictly identical with the Divine Ground.
III. Ontic Inviolability and Eternal Actuality
We affirm the law of Ontic Inviolability (Inviolabilitas Essendi) that Being cannot lapse into non-being. We declare that nothing which exists can ever be reduced to void, annihilated, or forgotten. Every thought, emotion, instant, and individual soul is immutably held within the Eternal Now (Nunc Aeternum). Death is recognized not as the destruction of identity, but as a transitional illusion, for our core existence is eternally secure within reality.
IV. Salvation and Awakening
We affirm that salvation is not a rescue from an external hell by a distant judge, but salvation from the illusion of separation and loss. We declare that humanity is fully held, supported, and secure within the Intrinsic. Salvation is realized through awakening to the divine depth already within us, stripping away external idols, and realizing The Infinite Immediate (L'Infinito Immediato) the direct presence of the Divine in the current breath.
V. Spiritual Refinement and Moral Law
We affirm the duty of every initiate to actively participate in smoothing the rough ashlar the continuous labor of refining human personality, ego, and emotion into a clean, geometric block fit for the temple of Being. We affirm that morality is governed by Universal Karma, Divine Justice, and Prudence. Wrongdoing is an intentional disruption of harmony, and while grace resides within the Ground, Divine Justice is absolute requiring sincere restitution in this life, or post-corporeal purification in the hereafter.
VI. Sacraments and Sacred Order
We affirm The Sacrament of the Transfigured Vestment as the sacred rite of unveiling, where water acts not to cleanse guilt, but to dissolve the dark mask of ignorance and reveal the luminous white garment of our true nature. We affirm the sacred order of the MasoƩlan (ministry) to shepherd the Citadels, preserve doctrinal purity, solemnize holy matrimony between one man and one woman, and guide initiates in the practice of Einkehr (Interior Return) and Anagogy.
