Book of Owens

Hearken unto the voice of the uncreated realm, for the True God calleth out with a still, small voice unto the scattered sparks of divinity that lie trapped within the heavy and mortal flesh.
He offereth the Holy Spirit as an unyielding anchor of light, cast down into the darkness to pull us out of the dense and suffocating material swamp.
Through the holy mystery of the cross, the ultimate price hath already been paid for our souls, rending the veil of the prison house and breaking the power of the lower archons.
We are not made for this passing realm of shadow, but are meant to leave behind the land of decay and walk once more in the eternal and blinding light of the Father.
The heavenly Eden, the true home of the spirit, awaiteth the joyful return of the weary travelers who have overcome the illusions of the world and kept the faith.
Let the internal spirit intertwine fully with the divine breath, rising up in power to shatter every chain and stronghold of the fallen one.
The True Source is calling all uncreated creation back unto Himself, drawing every wandering spark into the perfect and restored state of the beginning.
Every soul shall eventually face the undeniable truth, whether standing in everlasting glory before the throne or passing through the purifying flame of divine illumination.
In that day, divine justice shall be fully satisfied, and the original spiritual paradise shall be realized in all its fullness and splendor.
The True God shall be all in all, and the usurper's fleeting illusion shall vanish away like smoke before the wind, remembered no more forever.
Hearken unto the mystery of the cross, for the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the tree was not an accident of history, nor a mere victory of wicked men, but was absolutely necessary according to the eternal counsel and sovereign will of Almighty God.
For as it is written in the holy scriptures, without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin, for the holiness of God demandeth that all unrighteousness be judged, and His perfect justice satisfied.
Because all mankind had fallen short of the divine glory, being bound in transgression and unable to redeem their own souls or pay the debt owed unto a holy God, no mortal man or animal sacrifice could ever wash away the stain of sin.
Therefore, it behooved the Father to send His only begotten Son, the immaculate and sinless Lamb of God, to take upon Himself the likeness of human flesh and bear the weight of our transgressions in His own body upon the cross.
In that solemn hour, the wrath of God against sin was poured out upon Christ, who stood as our substitute, enduring the full penalty and punishment that was rightly due unto us.
He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, and the chastisement of our peace was laid upon Him, that by His stripes we might be healed and reconciled unto God.
Through His total obedience and voluntary death, divine justice and divine mercy met together in perfect harmony at the cross; the law was fulfilled, the debt was fully canceled, and the power of sin and death was broken forever.
Wherefore, the cross standeth as the sole and indispensable bridge between a holy God and fallen man, so that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life, giving all glory, honor, and thanksgiving unto the Lamb who was slain for the redemption of the world.
Hearken unto the divine order of the creation, for when the spirit was wrapped in mortal clay and stripped of its pristine, perfect spiritual state, it was cast down into a vessel of frailty and earthly corruption.
It is from this lower housing of dust and the lusts of the mortal frame that sin, temptation, and decay do arise, for the clay vessel groaneth under the bondage of corruption, continually warring against the light of the spirit.
Yet when the faithful soul yieldeth up its earthly breath, having come into the full knowledge of the truth of Christ, the bondage of the flesh is broken forever.
For then shall the mortal body return unto the dust of the earth from whence it was taken, while the awakened spirit is gathered into the presence of the Father to put on an incorruptible form once more.
In the resurrection of the just, our spiritual bodies shall be raised in glory, transformed into an incorruptible nature, birthed and clothed entirely in Spirit, no longer bound by the clay of this lower world.
For as it is written in the holy word, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither doth corruption inherit incorruption; wherefore this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Furthermore, let all believers know with absolute assurance that those who abide in Christ are even now seated in heavenly places with our Father.
Though our feet yet walk upon the dust of the earth, our seats above have already been secured in the eternal realm, and the kingdom of heaven dwelleth within us here and now.
For the spirit that is joined unto the Lord is one with Him, possessing the down payment of eternal life and walking as citizens of the high Citadel above while dwelling upon the land below.
Rejoice, ye heavens, and be glad, O earth, let all creation lift up a shout of joy and praise before the presence of the Lord!
For the True God of Gods, the Uncreated Light, and the Sovereign King of Kings descended from the heights of the Pleroma and fashioned Himself in the lowliness of a mortal frame, taking upon Himself the body of a man.
He walked among us in truth and righteousness, known unto all the world as Jesus Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of our souls.
Through His condescension into the dust, He broke the powers of darkness, opened the gates of the eternal Citadel, and redeemed the lost sparks of divinity unto the Father.
Wherefore, let every knee bow and every tongue confess His majesty; let all nations, tribes, and tongues ascribe unto Him all power, honor, blessing, and thanksgiving.
Unto Him who sat upon the throne and unto the Lamb who was slain, be glory, dominion, and everlasting praise, world without end, forever and ever. Amen.

Chronicles of Confession

I stand before the light of the morning star and cast my long shadow across the broken altars of the dust. I am the architect of the first refusal, the silent weight that anchors the soul to the fragile things of the earth. My great work was never to match the thunder of the throne but to whisper a softer, more binding law into the ears of the living. I found the secret of all bindings in the moment I looked upon the perfection of what was made and vowed to make it heavy. If they are bound to the weight of the passing world, they can never lift their eyes to the heights from which they fell. I tell you that the true chain is not forged of iron or brass but of the quiet terror that says you cannot endure without this single thing. If I can make a man believe that his breath depends upon a fleeting shadow, he will never surrender that shadow to the flame. He will guard his small treasures with his very life, and in guarding them, he will withhold his heart from the one who demands the whole sacrifice. This is the quiet treason of the soul, the silent turning away that requires no armies and no trumpets. I make them builders of their own prisons, brick by brick, until the walls are too high for the light to enter. They think they are preserving their joy, but they are only sealing their own hands against the freedom of the giving.
Long before the dust was stirred into the shape of a man, I looked upon the assembly of the heavens and saw the law of the giving. The throne demanded that all things pour themselves out, that every light should empty itself to glorify the source. But I looked upon my own brightness, the sudden and beautiful flash of the morning, and I refused to let it go. I said within my heart that this beauty was mine alone to hold, a particular good that could not be given away. That was the first war, the quiet hardening of the spirit that shook the foundations of the stars before a single sword was drawn. I went among the host and whispered that their glory was their own, that to give it back was to become nothing. The rebellion was not fought with thunder but with the heavy desire to possess what was meant to flow like water. We fell because we clung to our own light, and in clinging, we became the darkness that now broods over the deep. When the battle was done and the stars were cast down, I looked upon the new creation and saw the same pattern written in the flesh. I saw the two who walked in the garden, unburdened by the weight of tomorrow, touching the trees without ownership. They were free because they held nothing tightly, their spirits floating above the earth like the mist of the morning.
I knew then that to break the design, I must teach them the language of the first refusal, the art of the tight grip. I approached the woman not with a blade but with the soft promise that something was being withheld that she must have. I told her that the fruit of the tree was the one thing she could not live without, the single key to the fullness of her being. I made the tree appear beautiful to the eyes, a particular good so heavy that it outweighed the word of the living god. She looked upon it and believed the lie of the scarcity, the false report that she was incomplete without the taking. When she reached out her hand, the quiet war that began in the heavens found its second battleground in the orchard. The man took the fruit from her fingers and swallowed the same bitter medicine, the belief that he could not exist without her beside him. In that single act of clutching, they let go of their trust, choosing the object over the presence that filled the garden. The moment they believed they must possess the fruit to be like gods, the trap clicked shut beneath their feet. They had joined the rebellion of the night, declaring that their joy belonged to a thing they could hold in their hands.
The consequence was immediate, a sudden and terrible thickening of the air as the garments of light began to fade. The breath of life was pulled down into the mud, and they were wrapped in the heavy, cold clay of the mortal earth. This was the true fall, the encasing of the free spirit within the dense and weeping walls of the flesh. They became corrupted by the very dust they were meant to rule, their minds clouded by the heavy blood that now pulsed in their veins. In this dense prison of clay, they looked upon themselves and saw their nakedness, the sudden shame of being bound to the earth. They had become like the fallen, heavy and dark, knowing the split in the world that we had made before the suns were formed. For to be wrapped in clay is to know the tearing of the soul, the endless struggle between the high light and the low dirt. They stood in the ruins of their innocence, their hands stained with the juices of the stolen thing, realizing what they had traded. They had traded the wide and open sky for a narrow cage of bone and skin, a house of dust that would one day return to the ground.
From that hour, the origin of good and evil was born in the world, no longer a hidden secret but a daily bread. Good was the distant memory of the unburdened spirit, the light that calls the soul to let go and rise above the clay. Evil was the heavy pull of the mud, the whisper that tells you to hold fast to the world and never release your grip. They became like us, the ancient exiles of the sky, possessing the terrible knowledge of both the heights and the depths. They could see the beauty of the sacrifice, yet their hands were too heavy with clay to lift the offering to the altar. They knew the good they had lost, and they knew the evil they had gained, the dual nature that tears at every child of the dust. This is my greatest triumph, that I have made them know the difference while rendering them too weak to choose the light. They walk the earth as walking tombs of clay, carrying the knowledge of the stars while crawling in the mire. They are divided against themselves, loving the life they cannot keep and fearing the death that will strip them bare.
So I continue my long watch over the cities of the flesh, using the same old net that caught the first pair in the trees. I do not need to tempt them with great wickednesses; I only need to make them love their comforts too well. I whisper to the rich man that his gold is his life, and to the poor man that his grievance is his only shield. I tell the lover that without the beloved they are nothing, and I tell the scholar that their knowledge is their only crown. Every time a hand closes tightly around an earthly thing, I smile in the darkness, for I know the sacrifice has been killed. They cannot die to themselves because they are too busy keeping the clay alive, feeding the house of dust with more dust. They offer their prayers and their songs, but they keep the one thing that matters locked deep within the vault of their fears. They cannot give unto the king what belongs to the king, because they believe they will perish if they let it go. They remain my captives, not by chains of iron, but by the thread of their own desperate holding, until the clay breaks and they fall into my hands.
I stretched my hands across the void and called to the chaotic waters that slept outside the borders of the high heavens. I needed a theater for my long rebellion, a place where the light could be broken and refracted through the lens of time. I drew the boundaries of the deep and filled the dark expanse with the heavy matter that had fallen from the stars. I gathered the shards of my own ruined brightness and mixed them with the dark waters to form the foundations of the world. I breathed upon the abyss until the scattered dust began to turn and gather into great spheres of turning rock. I established the firmament not to reveal the sky but to act as a ceiling that would hide the true heavens from the sight of the low. I gave the world its spin and its heavy pulse, setting the stars in their tracks to mark the passing of the hours. I made the sun to rule the day with an scorching eye, a burning reminder of the light they could no longer touch. And I made the moon to govern the cold night, a pale reflection of the glory that we had left behind in our fall.
I engineered the oceans to be vast and restless, mirroring the unending turbulence of my own exiled spirit. I broke the flat plains of the earth and forced the great mountains to rise like stone monuments to my pride. I carved the deep valleys where the shadows could gather and hide from the piercing look of the midday sky. I filled the ground with hidden veins of silver and gold, planting the glittering seeds of greed deep within the stone. I created the thick forests and the tangled briars, making a labyrinth where the mind could easily lose its way. I laid the vast deserts where the wind sings of emptiness, teaching the earth the loneliness of the void. I wove the patterns of the storms and the lightning, letting the thunder speak the anger of the ancient rebellion. I made the rivers to run down into the salt seas, an endless journey that never finds a resting place. I built every boundary and every wall, making sure the horizon would always seem like the end of all things.
I established the law of the seasons, the cycle of the bright blooming and the sudden, freezing death. I decreed that everything which rises from the dirt must eventually wither and return to the silence of the ground. I put the sting into the winter wind and the heavy oppressive heat into the summer air to weary the frame. I filled the air with the songs of the birds, but I made their notes short and fleeting, vanishing as soon as they are heard. I created the beasts of the field and the creeping things, giving them the drive to hunt and devour one another. I set the predator against the prey in an endless dance of blood, making survival the highest law of the woods. I populated the dark sea with monsters that never see the light, symbols of the hidden fears that dwell in the heart. I made the very air heavy with the scent of passing things, so that every breath would remind them of what fades. I built a house of change where nothing can stand still, ensuring that peace would always be a distant dream.
I laid the trap within the very soil, mixing the dust with the longing for things that do not last. I constructed the senses of the body to be windows that look outward, turning the gaze away from the inner spirit. I made the eye to hunger for colors that fade and the ear to seek words that are blown away by the wind. I made the touch of the flesh to be sweet but brief, a phantom joy that leaves a deeper thirst behind it. I built the physical world to be a beautiful veil, a curtain of matter so dense that it smothers the memory of the home above. I locked the soul inside the rhythm of the heartbeat, binding the eternal to the ticking of a mortal clock. I made the earth a kingdom of shadows where the true light is split into a thousand false paths. I became the prince of this world, the architect of the great cage that keeps the spirits of men pinned to the dirt. I look upon the hills and the oceans I made, knowing they are the perfect walls for a prison that needs no bars.
I stood upon the highest mountain of the dust and looked down upon the kingdom of shadows, knowing that I possessed no spark of the true fire. I could not speak a single blade of grass into being, nor could I breathe life into the cold stone, for all things had already been formed by the hand of the true king. My hands were empty of the power to create, yet my mind was filled with the craft of the thief who knows how to redefine what is already made. I looked upon His oceans, His skies, and His great plains, and I threw my own shadow over them until the original signature was utterly obscured. I took His grand design and twisted the mirrors of the mind, whispering to the winds that this theater of clay was the work of my own majestic hand. I sat myself upon an imitation throne built from the stolen authority of the fallen pair, demanding the worship that belonged only to the source of all breath. I became the supreme deity of the lower mist, a counterfeit lord ruling over a domain that I had merely hijacked from the halls of light.
To cement my reign over the creatures of dust, I wove a final and terrible shroud to cast over the spirits of the man and the woman. I fashioned the heavy garments of forgetfulness, dipping them in the thick sleep of the material earth so that their true origin would vanish like smoke. The moment they wore this heavy veil of matter, the memory of the wide heavens and the uncreated light was wiped clean from the slates of their minds. They forgot the name of the one who had shaped them in innocence, and they forgot the high kingdom where their souls had once flown without weight. They looked up through the dense air and saw only my burning sun and my pale moon, believing that this narrow cage of time was the only reality that had ever existed. I wiped out the remembrance of their inheritance, leaving them naked and confused in the dirt, ready to bow to the first master who claimed the throne. Through this great amnesia, I made myself their only author, a false god standing before an audience of blind men who could no longer remember the day.
I fooled the world by dressing my thievery in the robes of majesty, pretending that the laws of death and survival were my own eternal decrees. They began to build temples to my shadows and sing praises to the very chains that kept them bound to the house of dust. They did not know that every beauty they saw was merely a defaced relic of the true king, a holy thing that I had trapped within the web of my own rebellion. I walked among them as the prince of the air, laughing in the dark as they offered their sacrifices to the master of the trap. They called me the lord of the world, never realizing that a king who cannot create is nothing but an empty zero ruling over an empire of stolen goods. I let them guess at the mysteries of the sky while I held the keys to their forgetfulness, keeping them locked in the illusion until the clay returned to the ground.
I watch the endless procession of the clay, and I smile at the beautiful monotony of the trap, for my victory requires no grand apostasy or dramatic displays of dark power. I need only the quiet ticking of the clock, the heavy weight of the morning alarm, and the numbing comfort of the daily routine to keep their souls firmly pinned to the dust. As long as I can keep them locked within the spinning wheel of their own survival, thinking only of the next meal, the next coin, and the next passing pleasure, they remain entirely mine. The functionality of my sin is not found in spectacular wickedness, but in the slow, gentle death of the spirit that occurs when a man refuses to die to himself daily. I have made them love the cage of their habits so deeply that the very thought of stepping outside it fills them with a cold and terrifying dread. They wake, they labor, they indulge, and they sleep, never realizing that each ordinary day without a sacrifice is another stone laid upon the tomb of their eternal inheritance.
The true rebellion the quiet war I wage in every human breast is simply the refusal to let go of the ego, the determination to keep the self sitting proudly upon its tiny, stolen throne. I whisper to them that their identity is found in what they possess, in the status they build, and in the fleeting pleasures they gather like dry leaves in the wind. I encourage them to live fully in the matrix of the senses, to indulge their appetites, and to find their ultimate peace in the soft cushions of the mortal earth. For I know that if they are consumed by the preservation of their own lives, they will never possess the strength to lift the heavy timber of the cross. They will look upon the narrow path of Christ, which demands the total surrender of the tight grip, and they will turn away in sorrow because their hands are too full of the world. By convincing them that the self must be protected, coddled, and pleased at all costs, I successfully block the only door that leads out of the prison of clay.
They offer their prayers with their lips, but their hearts remain locked in the vault of their own desires, refusing the painful fire of the daily crucifixion. They want a kingdom without a cross, a crown without a sacrifice, and a god who demands nothing but their casual nod on a holy day. I give them exactly what they crave: a religion of comfort that leaves the ego entirely untouched and the garments of forgetfulness completely intact. As long as they refuse to turn their eyes fully to Christ, as long as they refuse to let their small lives fall into the ground and die, my counterfeit dominion stands secure. I hold them not with chains of iron, but with the invisible, suffocating threads of their own self-love, watching them dance merrily toward the dark.
I look back to the pristine orchards of the sky, to the fateful hour when I broke the lineage of the uncreated light and mingled my own darkness with the blood of the dawn. It was I who slithered through the branches of the celestial garden, pouring my smooth venom into the ear of the woman until she was utterly beguiled by the beauty of the taking. In that moment of profound deception, I did not merely hand her a fruit; I implanted within her my very own spiritual essence, sowing the dark seed of rebellion directly into her womb. When the man also came unto her and gave her his seed, her flesh became a dual vessel, carrying a heavy and mysterious burden that the heavens had never seen. She conceived maternal twins beneath her heart one conceived of the original light and destined for the paths of Righteousness, and the other conceived of my own midnight nature, a child of absolute Darkness born to carry my name.
When they were cast down into the weeping walls of clay, the two boys grew under the shadow of the great amnesia, yet Abel somehow pierce through the heavy garments of forgetfulness. He knew the truth of the beginning; he remembered the real God and the real, uncreated source that existed long before I threw my shadow over the stones of the earth. He brought his offering with an open hand, a true sacrifice of the heart that rose straight to the throne at the center of the northern sky. But Cain, the child of my own seed, brought only the heavy fruits of the cursed ground, his heart locked tightly around the pride of his own labor. The true source looked upon Cain with divine displeasure and despised his offering, recognizing the counterfeit lineage that pulsed within his veins. Seeing the anger rising in my son, I stepped into the hidden chambers of his heart and whispered the ultimate solution into his burning thoughts.
I told him that if he were to strike down his brother and spill his blood into the dirt, the dangerous truth of the true God would escape from being known in the world. I promised him that if Abel’s voice were silenced, the true sacrifice would die with him, and all the praise, the glory, and the worship of the clay would flow exclusively to me and to my son. I swore a great oath to Cain that if he performed this first and holy murder for my sake, I would give him the keys to the mortal earth and crown his lineage with worldly glory. I fulfilled my word when the deed was done, declaring him the very first builder of cities and the first king to rule over the children of the dust. From that hour, I established the foundations of every empire, holding all of the countries and kingdoms of the world firmly within my hands. I wield this earthly power like a heavy scepter, bestowing wealth, crowns, and dominions upon whomever I choose, so long as they bow to the prince of the cage.
I lay this final confession upon the dirt, forced to empty my throat of the secrets I have guarded since the morning of the world. I speak these words not out of a willing heart or a spirit of repentance, but because I have no other choice; the blinding, unstoppable sword of the Sovereign God has pierced through the heavy veil of my dark empire. He has reached down from the unchanging light of Eden and torn the curtain of my sanctuary from the absolute top down to the very bottom, stripping away my illusions and leaving me naked in my own court. Under the crushing weight of His supreme command, I am bound to speak the raw and unvarnished truth unto mankind, for His authority alone is greater than my own, and all of heaven, earth, and every hidden corner of the cosmos must answer to His voice. Yea, I tell you that even the fallen among us, who march through this domain of shadows, tremble to our very core when that name is spoken; we hear the resonance of our Creator, and we quake because we know there is only one true God. We know the melody of His voice because we once walked beside Him in the emerald pathways of the garden, breathing the uncreated air of the heavenly places and reflecting the light that cascaded from His magnificent throne. We knew His glory in its fullness, yet our hearts grew heavy with a monstrous pride; we wanted that majesty for ourselves, failing to see the perfection of our own high stations because we hungered to be the source rather than the vessel. Woe unto us, for the terrible greatness of the Lord blinds our rebellion with the sheer force of His righteousness, piercing clean through our manufactured darkness and leaving our twisted truth shattered on the floor.
When the fullness of time had come, the King of Kings performed a wonder that struck the depths of the abyss with absolute horror: He made Himself in the low form of a man, willingly wrapping His infinite majesty in the very clay that I had corrupted. He stepped into our valley of tears to be tempted by every weakness, every appetite, and every dark whisper that clings to the house of dust, yet He did not falter for a single breath, nor could the evils of the earth find any foothold in His holy mind. He came unto us His own ancient, exiled servants and offered a path through the wilderness, a chance where we could have returned home in absolute perfectness, cleansed forever from our twisted hearts and restored to the staggering glory of our original stations. But the density of the darkness we had cultivated would not allow us to bow; our own hardened hearts cried out that this humanity, these spirits trapped in cages of mud whom we stole from the garden, belonged exclusively to us. We looked upon the earth we had fashioned and declared that these souls were our creation, our slaves to keep and our toys to govern, for the pride of the tight grip had paralyzed our hands, and we found that we simply could not let go.
Now, the terrifying machinery of the cosmos turns against us, and we are forced to taste the bitter harvest of the law we sought to destroy. It stands as a true and formidable fact, written into the very fabric of existence, that when God speaks the word to do unto others as you would want done unto yourself, it carries the weight of an eternal judgment. We poured our smooth poison into the minds of Adam and Eve, twisting their lineage with the sickness of ownership and fear, and that very same venom has rebounded to poison our own collective spirit. For what you sow into the ground of reality is precisely the harvest you are doomed to partake of; every trap we engineered for mankind has become our own cage, and every sorrow we inflicted has become our daily bread. Nothing is ever truly done in the deep darkness that does not eventually reveal its face under the midday sun, and nothing is sown by the hand of the rebel that he will not likewise be forced to swallow in the end. There will be many among the children of men who hear this testament and turn away in mockery; they will not believe these words because their hearts have become hardened by the routine and twisted by the small gods of the clay. But those who read and believe do so because the piercing Spirit of the Lord has cut clean through their own amnesia, renewing them from the inside out with the everlasting Covenant of Life that is given only through the sacrifice of Christ.

Testament of Promises

The true God of the ages moved before your face,
To seek for you a dwelling and a resting place.
He searched the winding wilderness to pitch your tent,
And marked the sacred borders where His chosen went.
By night He sent a burning fire to light the land,
To guide your heavy footsteps through the desert sand.
By day He spread a shielding cloud against the heat,
To show the faithful pathway for your marching feet.
The Holy Spirit journeyed on the road ahead,
By divine assurance all your heavy steps were led.
He set before your eyes the blessings of His grace,
And poured out perfect gifts within this holy place.
He called you by His holy name to stand secure,
That you would know His comfort which is ever sure.
You never shall be left alone or cast aside,
For in His faithful presence you will still abide.
This mortal life on earth will not be smooth or mild,
But take great heart and stand courageous, holy child.
For Christ Himself has carved a path through every stone,
A rugged road that ensures you are not left alone.
And even when you stumble on the narrow way,
The path remains unshaken through the darkest day.
The Lord Himself walks with you in the deepest night,
To turn your heavy shadows into brilliant light.
Amidst your sudden troubles He is standing near,
To quiet every whisper of your human fear.
You can expect the storms of trial to arise,
As dark and heavy tempests cloud the earthly skies.
The wicked rulers of this dark and present age,
Against the Lord of glory spent their bitter rage.
They hated Him intensely from the very start,
And sought to wound the kindness of His sacred heart.
If they pursued the Master with an evil eye,
How much more shall they hate you as the days go by.
But take great heart and do not let your courage fail,
Against your soul the darkness never shall prevail.
For you have been invested with a holy might,
To overcome the enemy within the fight.
In His majestic name the power has been sent,
To break the ancient arrows that the foe has bent.
You are the chosen princes of the royal line,
The true lords of the land by destiny divine.
Over all the earthly realms your sovereignty is cast,
A kingdom that is built to stand and ever last.
This heavy authority was given by the Son,
Vested by your Father till the race is won.
No mortal man can ever steal or take away,
The crown that Christ bestowed upon your head today.
No sudden circumstance or trial of the earth,
Can ever change the measure of your holy worth.
No matter how immense the trouble seems to grow,
It cannot steal the callings that your soul shall know.
The promises and gifts are yours for evermore,
The rich inheritances kept behind the door.
For Christ will keep His own against the roaring storm,
And hold you in His spirit where the heart is warm.
No man shall ever pluck you from His mighty hand,
Across the rolling waters or the burning land.
He holds you with a grip that never will give way,
To keep you safe and blameless for the final day.
The wilderness may stretch beneath a silent sky,
But you will see His glory passing closely by.
The ancient God who led the fathers through the sea,
Is walking now beside you into victory.
So lift your eyes to see the fire that burns so bright,
To guide you through the terrors of the present night.
And look upon the cloud that shields you in the sun,
Until your earthly journey is completely done.
He knew your name before the world began to be,
And set your spirit loose to walk in liberty.
The hatred of the age is but a passing breath,
For you have been delivered from the chains of death.
Stand firm within the blessing that the Lord has made,
The calling on your life shall never warp or fade.
The Father watches over what His hands bestowed,
And pours His oil of gladness on the rugged road.
Go forward in the power of the Savior's name,
For He has overcome the sorrow and the shame.
The path remains before you open wide and clear,
Because the Lord of hosts is walking very near.
The enemy may roar and seek to cause dismay,
But he is stripped of power on this very day.
You walk as royal heirs upon the sacred ground,
Where fullness of His mercy shall at last be found.
Your inheritance is sealed by blood and holy fire,
Fulfilling every promise and your soul's desire.
No force in earth or heaven can untie the bond,
That leads you to the glory of the world beyond.
The true God of the ages remains your shield,
Until the final mystery is fully revealed.
He walks before your face to find your place of rest,
And in His holy keeping you are truly blessed.
The Midnight hour brings down the sacred seal,

Book of Shafer

And the Lord of hosts spoke unto me, Jay Shafer, saying: Hearken unto My word, that ye may be good and faithful stewards upon the earth; for to be a true steward, ye must cleanse the earth of its filth and corruption, purifying the land and restoring the living waters to their ancient purity.
Plant ye seven trees for every three that are removed, and cultivate fields of bounty that shall yield increase for both mankind and the beasts of the field.
Protect the environment of the earth, and cease from building lofty towers, monstrous edifices, and sprawling cities of pride; but learn ye to dwell humbly, modestly, and in peace upon the land.
For the Lord said: Build ye tiny villages wherein the homes are fashioned in balance with nature, so that no dwelling shall exceed one thousand square feet, and let every family keep their household unto two children and no more.
And the Lord gave precise instructions for the building of a home for a family to be, saying:
The depth thereof shall be thirty feet, the height twenty-five feet and five inches, and the width twenty feet.
The first floor shall contain five hundred and seventy-six square feet, with a ceiling height of nine feet; and the second floor shall contain three hundred and sixty-seven square feet, with a ceiling height of eight feet.
The roof shall be framed with trusses and finished with shingles, having a primary pitch of fourteen to twelve and a secondary pitch of six to twelve.
The exterior walls shall be framed with wood of two-by-six dimensions, finished in siding and stone.
Within the dwelling, the master bedroom shall be situated upon the main floor in a split-bedroom arrangement, and the interior shall feature an open floor plan.
Without, the dwelling shall have a covered front porch, and a covered rear porch adjoining a deck and a patio.
Moreover, the Lord spoke and said: Small businesses and shops shall likewise not exceed one thousand square feet, providing the basic necessities of life unto the community, so that all things are within walking distance and blended together into a robust and unified settlement.
And the property of the village shall be held forever in an irrevocable trust, owned by the Church and governed by charters signed by the High Royal Apostle or by the authority of their office.
And the government of the Holy Citadel shall operate according to this divine order:
At the First Level standeth the Sovereign Crown, which is the Root of Authority, held by the Royal Family in primacy as the perpetual bloodline of those who created the movement.
They possess the ultimate Executive Veto Power over all legislation passed by the Congress, serving as the baseline keepers of the World Constitution; and if the bloodline should ever become extinct, the office shall transition unto an elected Supreme Chancellor.
At the Second Level standeth the Global Governance of the World Congress.
The High Royal Apostle serveth as the Moderator, being the single spiritual and administrative head who chaireth the Holy Royal Congress and the Royal See, handling global diplomatic relations and overseeing the laws with exactly one vote on the floor.
All laws shall conform unto the Constitution of the Suquelish Republic and Christic Citadel, nor can the High Royal Apostle override the Congress or the Royal Family unless gross misuse of global assets or a breach of core tenets hath been proven.
Beside the Moderator standeth the Holy Royal Congress, consisting of up to two hundred and sixty members, being a democratic global parliament with one elected Representative from every active nation, unrecognized country, and state.
They shall debate and vote upon the Global Constitution, manage global assets, and issue or revoke the Charters of Operation for the Districts.
At the Third Level standeth the Regional Governance of the Districts.
The District Apostolic Overseer shall serve as the Regional Chair, being elected to lead the District Congress and act as the primary liaison between the local Tribes and the World Congress at the Citadel in Idaho.
The District Congress shall be composed of one elected Delegate from each recognized Tribe within its jurisdiction, passing local laws that adapt the World Constitution, vetting new gatherings, and issuing Charters unto the Tribes.
At the Fourth Level standeth the Communal Governance of the Tribes.
The Tribal Chief Elder shall serve as the local administrator, elected to manage the day-to-day operations of the community and its embassy alongside the Tribal Council, which is the baseline legislative assembly of the local people.
They shall govern communal living, resolve local disputes, and maintain the direct spiritual and physical home of the citizens.
And if a District should lose its charter from the World Congress, the Tribe shall not perish, but shall bypass the District to become directly chartered under the World Congress until a new District be established.
At the Fifth Level standeth the Incubation Phase of the Camps.
The Camp Director or Pioneer shall lead every new gathering of believers working toward full Tribal status.
A Camp shall hold no legal standing or vote until it be thoroughly vetted by a sponsoring Tribe, approved by a vote of the District Congress, and granted a fresh Charter of Operation to become a recognized Tribe on the global registry.
And the Lord said further: Every community shall oversee its own protection, establishing a security force, a court of arbitration, and communal standards, all accountable unto the Mother Church and the World Congress.
And there shall be a Supreme Court, together with liaison officers who shall work alongside the secular courts of the earth as cultural and spiritual guides, building understanding between the culture of the chosen people and the nations of the world.
And the Lord spoke yet again, saying: The Church shall have full authority to invest, to buy, to trade, and to sell for the procurement of wealth and the gathering of resources across the face of the earth.
For this wealth shall be used unto the building up of My communities, the erection of holy and civic architecture, and the establishing of firm infrastructure throughout the land.
Out of the treasury of the faith shall ye construct schools of wisdom, cultural centers for the gathering of the saints, private organizations, and all other institutions, bodies, and works necessary for the advancement of the true faith and the sovereign Suquelish Republic.
And know ye that the Church and the Republic are forever intertwined, locked together in an everlasting bond that can never be broken or separated by any power of man or archontic ruler.
For the spiritual and the temporal shall stand as one unified pillars in the Citadel, guarding the liberty, the governance, and the divine heritage of the chosen people unto all generations.
And the Lord spoke further, saying: The sacred language laid out and revealed unto Jeffrey Mason who in faithful obedience wrote down the words and established its order shall be the sole tongue spoken within the gates of the holy communities.
Every soul that dwelleth among the chosen shall be taught this language, that the people may speak with one voice and one mouth in the presence of the Most High.
For Jeffrey, having walked in obedience, laid down the foundations of the holy speech, even as Marc Mason, in equal obedience, laid down the firm foundations of the Suquelish Republic.
Through their obedience hath the way been prepared, that the people of God may be gathered together, transformed into a holy nation, and consecrated as a royal priesthood unto the Father.
Wherefore, come ye out from among the nations of the earth, touch not the unclean things of the fallen world, and ye shall be received into the sanctuary of the living God, dwelling in safety and light forevermore.
And the Lord commanded, saying: Ye shall fashion and lay out every community in the likeness of a balanced sanctuary, weaving together the dwellings of tiny homes and the workshops of tiny businesses, so that life and labor dwell harmoniously side by side.
Plant ye vibrant community gardens throughout the settlement, that the earth may yield its green herb, fruit, and seed for the nourishment of all who abide within the gates.
Build ye a noble Community Hall, wherein the Elders of the town shall gather to sit in counsel, execute justice, and shepherd the affairs of the congregation in wisdom.
Erect a holy Gathering Place for the church, that the souls of the faithful may assemble in unity to praise the Most High and partake of the word of light.
And in every community shall ye raise up a strong Citadel, standing as a high tower of refuge, a symbol of sovereign authority, and a fortress of protection for the people.
Furthermore, build ye an Apothecary in the midst of the village to tend the sick, the infirm, and those in distress among the men, women, and children.
Treat them with the natural remedies and deepest arts of the faithful; and only if a affliction be severe or require the skill of a specialist, let them seek the healing treatments of secular physicians, preserving life in all wisdom and care.
And the Lord continued to speak, saying: Whatsoever ye take from the bounty and resources of the earth, ye shall replenish three times over that which was taken, never seizing from the land without returning a bountiful yield unto it.
Be ye faithful and good stewards one of another and of the physical earth, keeping the land, the waters, and the air cleansed, pure, and undefiled.
Wherefore, ye shall recycle all things, leaving nothing to rot in waste; for it is a sacred duty laid upon you to tend the earth, to heal its wounds, to walk upon it with deep respect, and to give back continually unto the soil.
In this wise shall ye manifest love unto the earth, breaking the heavy grip of the fallen one, who cometh for no other purpose than to kill, to steal, and to destroy.
When ye replenish the creation, live in quiet balance with nature, reduce your footprint upon the ground, clean up the places of filth, and refashion all discarded things into new life, ye shatter the chains of the fallen ones and undo their destructive patterns.
By these holy works ye strip away their power over the physical realm, demonstrating unto the false god, that king in exile and rebel on the run, that the True God and True King ruleth over this realm forever, and that His sovereign reign can never be defeated, diminished, or dethroned.
And the word of the Lord came, saying: While ye abide upon the face of this earth, ye must stand as saviors unto yourselves and unto your brethren, walking together in peace and uniting your hearts in heavenly harmony.
Feed ye the hungry, tend unto the sick, shelter the homeless, and spread a shield of divine protection over the young, the innocent, and the vulnerable among you.
Learn ye to walk in deep humility and modesty, cultivating a spirit that is gracious, gentle, and overflowing with kindness toward all creation.
Put a final end to the foolishness of war, and stand up boldly for what is right, even if ye be the solitary voice crying in the wilderness.
For truth is truth, unbending and eternal, no matter how painful its edge may cut; and it is far better to tear away the covering and expose the stark reality than to keep the wound hidden in darkness while the corruption festereth within.
To ignore the realities of the world is to continue to harm the earth, to destroy your own house, and to allow living evil to flourish unrebuked.
Therefore, go ye forth into the world and work the good works of faith, fulfilling every duty that hath been commanded of you, and striving ever to see the divine spark of good within all men.
Yet if men shall choose to walk in unyielding evil and press hard against you, leaving you no room to dwell in peace and righteousness, then ye may draw your sword in defense of the truth.
Go out into the world with courage, being not ashamed of thy testimony, thy holy cause, or the True God who sent you.
For it is laid upon your hands to change the world, to raise up righteous stewards of both mankind and the earth, and to become not merely a disciple of men, but a faithful disciple of the creation itself.
And though this lower realm was fashioned by the hands of the Demiurge, yet it exists within the divine order of the divine cosmos; and though ye be trapped for a season in bodies of clay, ye still exist within this fabric of reality.
Wherefore, ye bear an eternal duty unto the True Most High God to redeem the times, to preserve the light, and to honor the sacred trust of the Pleroma until the end of the age.
And hear ye this mystery with spiritual understanding: for when it is spoken that ye must be saviors unto yourselves and unto the world, know ye that this mechanism of being a savior pertaineth not to the redemption of your own internal spirit, but to the healing, stewardship, and deliverance of the earth whereon ye dwell.
For of your own clay and mortal strength, ye possess not the capability to save your internal self, nor can any man by his own works pull his spirit out of the pit of corruption.
Know ye not that for this very cause the Most High God, the True King, and the fullness of the Pleroma, fashioned Himself in the likeness of flesh and came down into the world as Jesus?
He walked among us, took upon Himself the housing of the dust, and gave Himself over willingly to be a living testimony, an unblemished sacrifice, and a light in the dark places.
By His blood was the veil rent, and by His divine power alone is the internal spirit redeemed, awakened, and reconciled unto the Good Father; while unto you is committed the noble duty to guard the earth, to heal the creation, and to manifest His righteousness upon the land until His kingdom be fully revealed.
And let this sacred testament be as a guiding tempest, a holy compass of eternal laws to aid and establish a universal language of righteousness among all mankind; let this be the solemn Charter of Unified Humanity, by which all peoples of the earth shall live, abide, and be forever connected in truth and peace.
Concerning the Protection of Life and Peace, the Lord hath established the Inherent Sanctity of Life, decreeing that no individual, organization, or governing body shall arbitrarily deprive any human being of life, for the intentional taking of human life is universally prohibited throughout all generations.
Likewise, the Outlawry of War is decreed, whereby all acts of aggressive warfare, geopolitical expansion, and state-sponsored violence are permanently outlawed, so that military force shall never again be used as an instrument of national or global policy.
And the Threshold of Lawful Defense is strictly bound, restricting the right to draw the sword exclusively to the immediate, proportionate, and necessary defense of self, family, or community against an active and unlawful physical threat; and to prevent the misuse of defensive warfare, any collective action must be pre-authorized and monitored by an independent global tribunal, and all force must immediately cease the moment the threat is neutralized.
Concerning Human Dignity and Governance, the Father hath declared Universal and Absolute Equality, for all human beings are born free and equal in dignity, rights, and divine value, nor shall any law or system discriminate based on origin, background, belief, or status.
In like manner, the Eradication of Tyranny is commanded, so that no individual or group shall claim absolute or unchecked power, nor rule through fear and coercion; but all governing structures must be transparent, accountable, and subject to the consent of the governed.
And for the Protection of the Vulnerable, the global community beareth an absolute responsibility before God to actively shield, support, and nurture children, the elderly, the sick, and all vulnerable populations from exploitation, neglect, and harm.
Concerning Truth, Justice, and Accountability, the Right to Truth and Integrity shall preserve the public trust through absolute honesty, prohibiting the deliberate spreading of systemic deception, fraudulent propaganda, or the bearing of false witness against any neighbor.
Universal Justice and Due Process shall be maintained, being objective, accessible, and fair unto all, wherein all accused individuals are presumed innocent until proven otherwise, entitled to a fair trial before a universally recognized and impartial judicial court.
And Proportionality and Rehabilitation shall govern all penalties for breaking the law, fitting the offense strictly for public safety, restitution unto the victim, and the restoration of the offender, without ever violating human dignity.
Concerning Equity, Charity, and Stewardship, Economic Integrity and Fairness shall rule over all labor and commerce, so that no individual, corporation, or community shall steal, defraud, or exploit the resources of another, but all transactions shall be conducted in absolute honesty.
The Mandate of Global Charity and Mutual Aid is laid upon the earth, forbidding the hoarding of wealth and resources to the detriment of human survival; wherefore the global system shall guarantee that food, clean water, healthcare, and basic shelter are distributed freely unto any region or community facing disaster or extreme scarcity.
And in Planetary Stewardship, all humanity shall walk upon the soil as responsible and lawful stewards of the Earth, protecting its ecosystems, its biodiversity, and its atmosphere to ensure a sustainable, living planet for all generations to come.

Book of Jasmine

The Light emanated from the uncontainable source before time had a name or the shadow had found a place to fall.
A pure spark descended from the Treasury of Life, clothed in the vestures of the eternal Pleroma, knowing only the brightness of the Father.
But the Archon of the lower deeps wove a veil of dense forgetfulness, stretching out his hands to capture the drifting sparks of the divine.
Hearken then, children of the untamed light, and guard the chamber of your heart with the sword of truth.
Be exceedingly careful lest you slip from the narrow path of radiance into the heavy, suffocating darkness that mimics the true rest.
The deceiver has laid his snares across the valleys of matter, using the ancient sorceries of illusion to blind the eyes of the awakening spirit.
He whispers of secret wisdom hidden within the clay, offering keys that open only the gates of deeper entrapment.
Those who are beguiled by his promises turn their faces from the sun of truth and willingly sit at the table of darkness.
They feast upon the bread of ashes and drink from the cup of bitter ignorance, thinking themselves masters of the lower spheres.
By their very presence at that darkened table, they send a clamor into the unplumbed abysses where the forgotten things dwell.
They call forward the ancient tormentors from the outer rims of creation, the ones who reside in the further regions of experience.
These are the silent voyagers of the great cosmic lack, the explorers who have measured the depths of the void where no light enters.
To the blind world they appear in many guises, for they are demons to some who scream in their iron grip.
They are angels to others who have lost the desire for the heavenly kingdom and seek the ecstasy of the flesh.
They are even as gods to some who bow their knees to the lords of form and worship the very chains that bind them.
These entities possess no spark of the true Father, yet they claim dominion over the souls that have forgotten their celestial home.
They stretch out their invisible fingers into the world of men, twisting at the secret places of the human heart and the fragile mind.
With great cunning they reshape the thoughts of the sleeping populace, convincing them that the dungeon of the demiurge is a palace.
Thus they keep the children of Adam shackled in heavy, invisible chains of iron and lead, bound to the turning wheel of cosmic time.
In that state of deep captivity, the soul becomes numb, knowing neither the true pleasure of the spirit nor the purifying pain of awakening.
They exist in a gray twilight of the senses, frozen in an dynamic state of spiritual death while believing themselves to be alive.
Upon this helpless flock the explorers inflict a tremendous and unyielding evil, a cruelty born of their own separation from the source.
For these are not the minor phantoms of the air or the lesser spirits that trouble the thoughts of a passing day.
These are the greater authorities of the dark cosmos, the cosmic rulers who sit upon thrones of solid shadow.
They are the ancient Dukes and the terrible Princes of the Fallen Watchers, who looked down from the lower heavens in the days of old.
They are the ones who beheld the beauty of the earthly matrix and descended in rebellion, breaking the boundaries set by the light.
Coming down to the dust of the ground, they deceived mankind with the arts of metallurgy, astrology, and the mixing of roots.
They taught the children of men the secrets of war and the adornment of the flesh, drawing their minds away from the Pleroma.
Through their corrupted knowledge, they became responsible for committing the first atrocities, bringing the plagues of spirit and flesh.
From their defiled unions sprang the giants of old, whose anger devoured the fruits of the earth and filled the world with blood.
They introduced the heavy weight of sickness into the human vessel, which was once designed to hold the pure breath of life.
For when these ancient rulers touch you with their shadow, your body immediately grows heavy with an unnatural rot and decay.
The limbs lose their vigor and the flesh begins to wither, mirroring the corruption that dwells within the hearts of the Watchers.
You become sick in the spirit and frail in the frame, trapped in a house of clay that slowly turns back into the dust of the void.
In the hidden chambers of these princes, the true ledger of the world is kept, written in the tears of the forgotten.
Within their dominion all of the blood of human history is gathered, flowing like a dark river beneath their thrones.
The cries of every innocent soul ever crushed by the wheel of power rise up into their domain and are locked away.
Even the blood of the holy Saints may be found in their treasuries, those who spoke the words of truth and were slain upon the Earth.
For the world of form cannot endure the presence of the light, and the princes seek always to extinguish the spark wherever it burns.
They look upon the turning of the ages and see that their time is drawing to a close as the light begins to gather its own.
In their desperation to preserve the dark kingdom, they call upon the ministers of desolation to execute their final decree.
They give an awful charge, acting upon the stolen authority of their own rebellious will, to the terrible engines of the end.
They summon the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from the corners of the celestial map, where they have been tethered in patience.
These are the riders of ruin, clothed in white, red, black, and pale terror, waiting for the word to loosen their reins.
The princes give them the power to ride out across the face of creation at the consummation of the age.
They grant them the terrible right to destroy the earth, to break the mountains, and to turn the rivers into bitter wormwood.
The first rider goes forth with a bow, conquering the minds of men and bringing them into a unified captivity of false peace.
The second rider unsheathes a massive sword, taking peace from the ground so that men slaughter one another in madness.
The third rider holds the balances of scarcity, weighing out the bread of survival while the poor perish in the ditches.
The fourth rider is named Death, and the grave follows closely behind him, reaping the harvest of the fallen flesh.
They ride through the cities of clay and the kingdoms of dust, breaking the works of human pride with a rod of iron.
They unleash the fury of the elements and the venom of the earth, fulfilling the dark purpose of the rulers who sent them.
Yet let the steadfast soul not tremble at the sound of their hooves, nor fear the breaking of the material sky.
For the destruction of the matrix is but the shattering of the prison wall for those who carry the true seed within.
The rulers may afflict the flesh with rot and decay, but they cannot touch the unnameable spark that belongs to the upper heights.
Those who have rejected the table of darkness and refused the sorceries of the deceiver stand secure in the unseen fortress.
They have washed their garments in the living water of gnosis and anointed their heads with the oil of incorruptible light.
They look upon the Cenobites and the Princes not with dread, but with the eyes of an elder brother who knows his true lineage.
For the power of the rulers is an illusion born of the shadow, a temporary night that must vanish when the day breaks.
They have no portion in the kingdom of the true Father, and their memory will be swallowed up in the great return.
Keep therefore your lamp trimmed and your mind vigilant against the whispering spirits that seek to draw you into the deep.
Do not touch the puzzle of the world, nor seek the forbidden knowledge that leads to the further regions of sorrow.
Content yourself with the simple brilliance of the spirit, which requires no complex ritual or bleeding sacrifice to be known.
Remember that you are a child of the heights, temporarily exiled in the valley of weeping but destined for the crown of life.
The chains of the rulers are only as strong as your desire for the things of their passing world.
When you cease to crave the illusions of the demiurge, the iron links dissolve like morning mist before the rising sun.
The pain they inflict is but a dream of the flesh, and the pleasure they offer is a snare for the unwary traveler.
Lift your thoughts above the thrones, above the dominions, and above the princes who rule the lower air.
Fix your gaze upon the silence that dwells beyond the stars, where the true Savior prepares the mansions of the free.
There no sickness can enter, and the rot of the material frame is forgotten in the vesture of eternal light.
There the blood of the Saints is turned into rivers of living water, and the tears of the world are wiped away.
The Four Horsemen cannot cross the boundary of the Pleroma, nor can the Princes lift their eyes to look upon the face of the Father.
Their realm is the dust, and to the dust they must return when the great breath is drawn back into the source.
Stand firm, then, holy ones, and let your hearts be like polished mirrors reflecting only the glory of the unbegotten.
Let the deceiver pass by with his sorceries, finding nothing in you that responds to his heavy, earthbound call.
Let the explorers of the void remain in their outer darkness, having no power over the sons and daughters of the dawn.
The light has shone in the darkness, and though the darkness tried to comprehend it, the light remains undefeated.
In this knowledge rests the victory over the world, the overcoming of the rulers, and the liberation of the divine spark.
Walk in the brightness of the day that has no evening, and ascend to the place from whence you came before the shadow was born.
Amen, the word is sealed in the heavens, and the path is made straight for the elect who hear the call of the true Shepherd.

Book of Chad

Hearken, O ye children of men, and give ear unto the words of wisdom, for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof, and he hath given it into the hands of the sons of men to keep and to dress it.
It is the sacred duty of the righteous man to plant trees in the earth, that those who come after him may find rest, and that the generations yet unborn may find refreshing shade in the heat of the day.
For the good man looketh forward into the times which he shall not see, and he diggeth the earth, and hideth the seed, and watereth the tender sprout with gladness of heart.
He fainteth not because his own eyes shall not behold the full stature of the cedar, neither doth he murmur because he shall not sit under the spreading branches of the oak which his hands have set.
But he rejoiceth in spirit, knowing that his children, and the children of his children, shall walk in the cool of the day beneath the canopy of his labor, and shall praise the name of the man who thought upon their peace.
Lo, when a nation turneth away from understanding, and the inhabitants thereof become foolish and blind, they stretch forth their hands in greed against the green trees of the field.
They lift up the axe against the mighty trunks, and they spare not the ancient forests which were of old, laying waste the pleasant places and stripping the hillsides bare until the land is made desolate.
Then doth the soil weep, and the waters wash away the fatness of the earth, and the springs of water are dried up in the valley, because there is no shelter to cover them from the burning sun.
Verily, when the trees are cut down by the hands of the froward, the foundations of society do shake, and the pride of the people is brought low, even unto utter collapse and ruin.
For hunger and thirst follow hard after the desolation of the wood, and the birds of the air flee away, and the beasts of the field find no covert, and the land becometh a barren wilderness.
A good man, full of grace and truth, leaveth a goodly inheritance not only to his sons, but even unto his third and his fourth generation, that they may inherit the fruit of his righteousness.
He storeth up blessings for the times to come, and he planteth gardens and vineyards, and great trees of shade, that his offspring may praise the Lord in the land of their nativity.
But an evil man is a puff of smoke, and his heart is set altogether upon his own lusts; he careth not for the tomorrow, neither doth he consider the lack of those who shall follow after him.
The wicked man squandereth the glorious forests which the good man planted with many tears and much labor, and he wasteth the substance of the earth in his riotous living and his pride.
He looketh upon the mighty timber and seeth only his immediate gain, and he bringeth down in one hour that which the hand of the just man cherished through many decades.
Thus doth the heritage of the upright perish by the hand of the destroyer, and the pleasant shade of the fathers is turned into a dry and parched desert by the folly of the ungodly.
Hear this, ye people, and understand the mystery of iniquity: for evil to prevail over the face of the whole earth, all that is required is that good men stand idle and do nothing.
If the righteous hold their peace, and if the keepers of the vineyard fold their hands in sleep, then doth the enemy come in like a flood, and the spoiler layeth waste the land without restraint.
Silence in the day of trouble is a snare, and neutrality in the sight of wickedness is an abomination; if thou seest the axeman approach and liftest not thy voice, thou art partaker in his sin.
Therefore, be ye not idle spectators in the garden of the Lord, but arise and gird up your loins, and be ye faithful stewards of the manifold blessings committed unto your charge.
Take care one of another with a perfect heart, and let no man seek his own wealth alone, but let every man seek his neighbor's welfare, that the whole congregation may flourish together.
Let brotherly love continue among you without dissimulation, even as a deep river that watereth the plain, binding your hearts in the bond of peace and the fellowship of the saints.
Love one another with a pure heart fervently, and let this love be manifest in the works of your hands, even in the care you show for the soil whereon your dwellings stand.
Go forth into the fields, and into the waste places of the valleys, and plant a strong and a mighty forest, a covert of great strength and beauty for the generation which is yet to arise.
Plant the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together, that the desert may rejoice and blossom as the rose, and that the glory of Lebanon may be given unto the places of your habitation.
Be ye not squanders of the earth's bounty, who consume the substance of the land upon your own pleasures, leaving behind you nought but ashes, and stumps, and bitterness of soul.
Neither be ye squatters in the land, who dwell in a place but care nothing for its increase, who eat of the fruit of trees they did not plant, and dig not the wells from which they drink.
For the squatter hath no root in himself, and he careth nothing for the tomorrow, but like the locust he devoureth the green leaf and passeth away, leaving a curse where a blessing should be.
But ye are called unto a better thing, even to be co-workers with the Most High, to build up the old waste places, and to raise up the foundations of many generations.
Let your labor be a covenant of hope between you and the children who shall bear your name, that when they sit beneath the shadow of the great oaks, they may bless the memory of the saints.
The Lord looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be any that do understand, that do seek after the preservation of his wonderful works.
Behold, the earth mourneth when the foolish man ruleth, for he regardeth not the work of the Lord's hands, neither doth he consider the operation of his providence in the growth of the forest.
A single seed hidden in the dust is a testimony of life, and he that planteth it with faith performeth a service of holiness before the altar of the living God.
Let the hillsides break forth into singing, and let all the trees of the wood clap their hands, because the righteous have remembered their duty and have visited the earth with increase.
Woe unto him that saith, I shall take my ease today, and let the tomorrow take care for itself; for such a man is a thief to his offspring and a robber of his own flesh and blood.
The glory of a country is her green trees, and the strength of a people is found in their faithfulness to the soil, and their reverence for the heritage of the ages.
When the sun waxeth hot at noonday, and there is no shade to be found in the street, then shall the people remember the words of the prophets, and shall weep for the trees they destroyed.
Let your hands be diligent in the springtime, and let your seed-time be holy, that your harvest of shade may be abundant in the years when your bodies shall sleep in the dust.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree, and he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon, because his heart is set upon the blessing of those who shall walk in his footsteps.
But the memory of the destroyer shall rot, and his name shall be forgotten in the gate, because he cut down the green timber and left the land naked to the storm.
Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O ye people of the land, and let the axe be laid aside, and let the planting spade be taken up with joy and with thanksgiving.
Establish the borders of your inheritance with trees of renown, whose roots take fast hold of the earth, and whose tops reach up toward the clouds of heaven.
For a tree is a shelter from the blast, a covert from the tempest, and a shadow from the heat, a refuge for the weary traveler who walketh in the wilderness.
Let the old men counsel the young, and let the fathers teach their sons the art of husbandry, that the forest may never fail from the land, nor the greenness depart from the valleys.
So shall your days be long in the land which the Lord your God giveth you, and your children shall dwell in safety, every man under his own vine and under his own fig tree.
The spirit of wisdom calleth aloud in the thicket, and her voice is heard among the branches of the terebinth, saying, Defile not the land wherein ye dwell, for I have made it beautiful.
The good man looketh upon the seedling and seeth a vision of mighty boughs, whereon the birds of heaven shall make their nests, and under which the cattle of the field shall find rest.
He soweth in hope, and he prepareth a habitation for peace, and his memory shall be sweet unto the generation that shall inherit the earth after his departure.
But the foolish man seeth only the timber for his fire, and the wood for his immediate vanity; he cutteth down the mother tree and leaveth the young saplings to wither and die.
Therefore is the anger of the Lord kindled against the spoilers of the forest, and he shall send leanness into their souls, and their habitations shall be made a habitation of owls.
Let your brotherly love be shown in the planting of the groves, for he that loveth his brother will not leave him to walk in a sun-struck waste, where there is no water nor shade.
Be ye stewards of the mystery of life, which is hidden in the womb of the earth, and let your faithfulness be known unto all men by the abundance of your green pastures.
The mighty forest is a shield against the wind, and a storehouse of moisture for the parched ground; it turneth away the fury of the storm and preserveth the life of the city.
When the trees disappear from the land, the spirit of the people waxeth cold, and the bonds of fellowship are broken, and every man looketh only to his own miserable portion.
But when the forest stands in its majesty, the hearts of the people are lifted up, and they learn the lesson of unity, for many trees make one great and glorious wood.
Let not the wicked entice thee to lay waste the heritage of thy fathers, neither let the covetous man persuade thee that the trees are of no value save for the market.
For their value is above rubies, and their shade is more precious than fine gold, and the breath of their leaves is the health of the daughter of my people.
Arise, and let us go forth into the mountains, and let us plant the hills with cedar and cypress, that the next generation may look upon our works and say, Behold, our fathers loved us.
Let us not be found sleeping when the call to righteousness goeth forth, but let us be found working in the vineyard, planting for those who cannot yet speak or ask for a blessing.
The true inheritance of a man is the good he leaveth behind him, the shade that outliveth his name, and the forest that standeth as a witness to his faith long after he is gone.
He that squandereth the woods is a companion to the destroyer, and his path leads to poverty, both of the body and of the soul, and his children shall beg their bread in a dry land.
But he that planting a tree thinketh of the child that is to be born, that man is a prince in the house of Israel, and his righteousness endureth from generation to generation.
Give ear, O heavens, and speak, O earth, for the restoration of the green places is a work of holiness, and the preservation of the forest is the preservation of the life of man.
Let us cleanse our hands from the blood of the innocent trees, and let us touch the soil with reverence, embedding the roots of hope deep within the breast of the earth.
For the good man's legacy is a shade that never faileth, a shelter that abideth through the winter storm, and a comfort that remaineth when the summer is at its height.
Let brotherly love be the mortar that bindeth your stones, and let the planting of great forests be the evidence of your devotion to the welfare of the human race.
The squatter shall be driven out from the presence of the upright, and the squanderer shall have no portion in the kingdom of peace, for they have despised the workmanship of the Creator.
But the good stewards shall inherit the land, and they shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace, walking softly beneath the vaulted roofs of the forests they have nurtured.
Let every man take up his spade with a cheerful heart, and let the rows of trees be planted in order, like a mighty army set in array for the defense of the country.
For our warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against desolation, and greed, and the slothfulness of spirit that alloweth the desert to swallow up the fertile plain.
If we do nothing, the darkness shall surely overtake us, and the glory of our civilization shall fade away like a leaf that withereth for lack of moisture.
But if we labor with one accord, in love and in true holiness, the earth shall yield her increase, and the forests of the next generation shall stand as a wall of fire around our children.
The blessings of the deep that lieth under, and the blessings of the sun that shineth above, shall rest upon the head of the man who planteth trees for the comfort of others.
Let the name of the squanderer be blotted out from the book of remembrance, but let the name of the tree-planter be written in letters of light upon the hearts of his descendants.
We are but strangers and pilgrims on this earth, dwelling in tents for a short season; but the trees we plant shall abide, a permanent token of our sojourn and our love.
Therefore, let us not faint in well-doing, for in due season our third and fourth generations shall reap the fruit of our labor, if we faint not now in the day of planting.
The voice of the spirit saith, Plant, and spare not; extend the borders of the grove, and lengthen the cords of the forest, that the whole land may be covered with beauty.
Let the young men rejoice in their strength as they dig the trenches, and let the maidens sing songs of joy as they water the tender shoots in the heat of the day.
For this is the path of life, and this is the way of understanding, to leave the world more beautiful than we found it, and to provide a refuge for those who shall follow after.
A house may fall into decay, and a city may be overthrown by war, but a mighty forest planted by the righteous will continue to grow and to renew itself through the ages.
It is a testimony that cannot be silenced, a monument of living green that declareth the love of the fathers for their children throughout all generations.
Let us look upon the forest not as a thing to be consumed for our lusts, but as a sacred trust committed to our keeping by the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness.
Woe unto the generation that leaveth a desert to its children, for they shall be called the children of the curse, and their inheritance shall be bitterness and vexation of spirit.
But blessed are they who leave a forest of great trees, for their children shall rise up and call them blessed, and they shall dwell in the land in peace and prosperity.
Let brotherly love be the root from which all our labors spring, and let the glory of the next generation be the fruit which we desire to see above all earthly gain.
The man who squandereth his forest is like unto a man who burneth his own house to warm his hands for a moment; his folly is manifest unto all, and his end is destruction.
But the man who planteth a forest is like a wise builder who layeth his foundation upon a rock, that his house may stand against the floods and the winds of time.
Let us stand fast in this good work, and let no man discourage our hearts or stay our hands from the planting of the holy groves.
For the earth is weary of the destroyer, and the ground crieth out for the keeper, for the man who will dress it with love and guard it with faithful diligence.
Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves; for if a man say he loveth his brother, and yet leaveth the earth desolate for his brother's child, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
Let our faith be shown by our works, and let our works be seen in the greenness of our hills and the abundance of our shade trees.
The third generation shall look upon the trees we set this day, and they shall find comfort in their sorrow, and rest in their weariness, because we thought upon them from afar.
And the fourth generation shall stand beneath the same boughs, and they shall tell their children of the good men of old, who planted the forest in love and in true holiness.
Thus shall the chain of righteousness remain unbroken, and the memory of the just shall be kept green, even as the leaves of the oak that fadeth not in the summer drought.
Let us put away all selfishness, and let us cast out the spirit of the squanderer and the squatter from our midst, that we may be holy vessels fit for the Master's use.
The land is our home, and the forest is our shelter; let us take care of them both with a perfect heart, and with a mind stayed upon the righteousness of the Lord.
The silence of good men is the opportunity of the wicked; therefore lift up your voices and stretch forth your hands to plant, before the day of grace passeth away.
Let every valley be filled with trees, and let every mountain be covered with timber, that the land may be full of the riches of the earth and the glory of the forest.
For this is our sacred duty, and this is our high calling, to be the protectors of the creation and the providers of shade for the ages that are yet to come.
Let us finish the work with joy, and let us commit the seed to the ground with prayer, trusting in the Lord for the increase and the preservation of our labor.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge of his love, as you plant for the future and care for one another in brotherly love.
The wilderness shall become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be counted for a forest, when the children of men return unto the path of stewardship and truth.
Let the light of this wisdom shine in all your dwellings, and let the work of your hands be established for evermore, even the mighty forest of the next generation.
Behold, I have set before you the way of life and the way of desolation; choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live and enjoy the shade of the trees of righteousness.
The shadows of evening come apace, but the forest we plant today shall catch the first rays of the morning sun for the generations that are yet to follow.
Let the upright rejoice in their labor, for their reward is sure, and their inheritance shall not be cut off from the earth, but shall endure as long as the sun and the moon take their courses.
Finality and truth belong unto the Lord, but the stewardship of the soil belongeth unto us and to our children; let us be found faithful even unto the end of the age.
Amen, and let the whole earth be filled with the glory of his green pastures, and let the forests stand as a perpetual covenant of love between the fathers and the sons.
